Student Initiatives

91.3 WHIL is dedicated to helping introduce children of all ages to the joys and rewards of classical music.

We hope that by planting the seeds today they will better appreciate the role that classical music can play in their lives as they grow.

In School Concerts

WHIL recently received a grant from the Junior League of Mobile, to begin an in-school concert series . 

91.3 WHIL will provide a local classical artist for interactive monthly concerts at various schools in the area. If you're interested in having  a concert at your school please call Keith Necaise at 251-380-4687

Visit the Station

WHIL also offers station tours as school field trips for students in both Mobile and Baldwin Counties.  To arrange a visit please call Keith Necaise at 251-380-4687

Intern at WHIL

College students interested in an internship at 91.3 WHIL, should contact General Manager Mario Mazza.  Internships can offer meaningful experience in areas like audio production, sales, marketing, graphic design, accounting, writing and the Radio Reading service for the blind.  For more information call. 251-380-4685
